As the charity partner for Startup Fashion Week, we were excited to host the Eco Forum, an event focused on sustainability and ethical fashion. Over the course of the day, we discussed social and environmental impacts/solutions and making sustainable fashion mainstream.
Our very own Tria Unhorn spoke about building an eco/ethical fashion business in a designer chat with Michelle Walmsley & Diana Soleil.
Three key themes emerged as the day came to a close:
- CONSUME LESS (Rent/Borrow Clothes, Purses, Shoes ex. Boro, Rent Frock Repeat)
- SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE (Local = Reduced Emissions, Smaller Footprint)
- DONATE (or recycle responsibly)
